NATO removed restrictions from air space of Serbia

The secretary general of NATO Jens Stoltenberg declared that the restrictions operating in air space of Serbia since 1999, are removed, broadcasts RIA Novosti news agency.

"From now on (peacekeeping operation of NATO in Kosovo – an edition) KFOR completely removes restrictions of air safety. The restrictions operating since 1999, are removed now", – Stoltenberg told.

The secretary general of NATO made this statement in Belgrad at joint press conference of c by the prime minister of Serbia Alexander Vuchich.

As it is reported, this decision is accepted it was accepted after Serbia undertook to normalize the Balkan air space.

Restrictions on flights extended on 25 km towards the central Serbia from administrative border with Kosovo.
