The Russian tourists departed to Egypt through Minsk

The Russian tourists, got used to have a rest in the Egyptian resorts the Sharm-esh-Sheykh and Hurghada, found a way to bypass the ban imposed by the authorities to fly to Egypt.

Now Russians go on the coast of the Red Sea through Minsk though such trips manage much more expensively, transfers to "Kommersant". Redistribution of a stream can lead to growth of the tourist’s market of Belarus more than on 17 billion roubles.

About new practice to the newspaper was told by representative "Onlayntura" Igor of Pancakes. He notes a considerable rise in prices and falling of volumes – now about 8,5 % of inquiries are the share of this direction, and before aircraft service restriction the indicator kept at level of 25 %. Travel agents say that such scheme удорожает round for 20-100 %.

To the Russian airlines forbade to fly to Egypt after the crash of the plane of the Kogalymavia company which has taken off from the Sharm-esh-Sheykha. At the beginning of a week of the power of the Russian Federation officially recognized accident which carried away lives of 224 people, act of terrorism.

Closing of Egypt became a hard blow for the tourist’s industry: more than 19 % of an exit tourist’s stream are the share of this direction from Russia and to 80 % of sales of some operators. Restriction and to travelers was not pleasant: services of bronirovaniye fixed 17 – 70 percent growth of interest to flights to Egypt.

According to the Russian Federal Service of State Statistics, in 2014 Egypt was visited by 2,6 million Russians. That is through Belarus to Egypt 218 thousand Russians which will pay, by expert calculations, the Belarusian travel agencies of 17,4-19,6 billion roubles can theoretically leave. These are nearly 30 % of total amount of the market of exit tourism of Belarus, "Businessman" notes.

Losses of the Russian operators in Associations of tour operators of Russia estimated at 200 million dollars. The main risk for the tourist industry consists in possible unwillingness of the Egyptian otelyer to set off an advance payment for placement of the Russian travelers on account of future groups of tourists which will go to Egypt after removal of a ban on flights.
