Turkish Airlines stopped flights over Sinai

Foreign airlines continue to refuse from flight over the Sinai Peninsula after crash in Egypt of the Russian plane. This time the corresponding statement was made by representatives of Turkish airline Turkish Airlines.

– Our airline carried out flights through the Sinai Peninsula on routes Istanbul – Amman and Istanbul – Aqaba. After that incidents we use for flights in these directions alternative routes, – reported in Turkish Airlines.

Earlier a number of the western airlines refused flights over the Sinai Peninsula. Roundabout routes are laid by German Lufthansa, the French Air France, the Arab Emirates and Flydubai, the second-large Jetairfly in Belgium, the British Thomas Cook Airlines.
