Among victims as a result of Mi-8 helicopter attack near Slavyansk there was staff of Security service of Ukraine. Information on it to "Interfax" confirmed in SBU press center.

«As a result of crash of the helicopter four employees of SBU – three officers and one ensign were lost», – reported to agency in the intelligence service press center.

Earlier врио the head of department on work with staff Alexander Rozmaznin declared at press conference that among victims at attack of the Mi-8 helicopter there were officers of SBU.

For its part, the chairman of presidium of the Supreme Council of the proclaimed Donetsk national republic Denis Pushilin did not confirm message ITAR-TASS that rebels brought down the VS helicopter of Ukraine. «Messages such arrived, however confirmation of this information is not present», – he declared.

According to the head of the press center «anti-terrorist operation» Vladislav Seleznev, the helicopter came back from a post after performance of a task of delivery of cargoes.

«Firing was conducted near Bylbasovk’s settlement. The automobile car which left the armed people with PZRK approached, carried out a shot on the Mi-8 helicopter then sat down in the car and disappeared in the unknown direction», – he told to the Segodnya.Ua edition.

As Seleznev reported, onboard the helicopter there were experts and the equipment for monitoring of space, fixing of the facts of violation of the plan of peaceful settlement of the conflict in the east of Ukraine.

On Tuesday, June 24, it was reported that the military Mi-8 helicopter of the Ukrainian Air Force was brought down at take-off from Karachun’s mountain near Slavyansk. Originally information on it arrived from the fighters of National guard who are on duty on one of posts nearby to the city.

In turn, the coordinator of group «Information resistance» Dmitry Tymchuk reported on the page in Facebook about death of nine military personnel, including three crew members. According to him, the helicopter was lined by rebels from the mobile surface-to-air missile system (PZRK).

Collisions between military and supporters of the self-proclaimed Lugansk and Donetsk national republics proceed in the southeast of Ukraine more than two months. As a result of fights hundreds people, including civilians were lost. On June 20 the president of Ukraine Peter Poroshenko declared a truce for a period of a week, having suggested fighters of self-defense to lay down arms. However it almost was broken at once. On June 23 representatives rebels agreed on a truce.
