KLM refuses to transport luggage of passengers on flights from Egypt

The KLM airline refused to accept luggage of passengers aboard the planes which are taking off from Cairo, after messages that bomb explosion in a luggage compartment could become the possible reason of crash of the Russian A321 liner on the Sinai Peninsula. About it reported today agency Assoshieyted Press.

"In Cairo the good airport, we can fly there without restrictions, – gives agency the statement of the representative of the company. – However as a precautionary measure we decided not to load luggage at this airport, being based on information from national and international sources".

The first flight to which passengers allowed to carry by aboard only hand luggage, arrived from Cairo to Amsterdam this morning. About that, as well as in what terms their things will be delivered, the representative of an air carrier did not specify.

The liner "A321 Airbus" the Russian airline "Kogalymavia", the carrying-out flight Sharm-esh-Sheykh – St. Petersburg, suffered accident on October 31. All 217 passengers and 7 crew members were lost, the majority of them Russians.
