The Standard Atmosphere
The tables that follow are derived from The ARDC Model Atmosphere, 1959, by Minzner, R. A., Champion, K. S. W., and Pond, H. L. Air Force Cambridge Research Center Report No. TR-59-267, U. S. Air Force, Bedford, MA, 1959. The values in the tables are the same, for most engineering purposes, as those derived from U. S. STANDARD ATMOSPHERE, 1976. Prepared by the USAF, NASA, and the NOAA.
