The Kiev court made the decision on return to the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine of the helicopters being in Sevastopol. The press service of the State Office of Public Prosecutor of Ukraine reports about it.

As it is noted, the economic court of Kiev satisfied the claim of prosecutor’s office of Ukraine which demanded contract cancellation with «The Sevastopol air enterprise» where helicopters were on repair, and decided to return them. The enterprise also obliged to pay compensation at a rate of 53,5 million hryvnias (4,5 million dollars) – that sum which was listed as payment of major maintenance of boards in November-December of last year. Whether executed the enterprise repair, thus it is not specified.

In the message of prosecutor’s office it is specified that means were listed to the Sevastopol enterprise when defensive department was headed by Pavel Lebedev known as the colleague of the former president of Ukraine of Victor Yanukovych.

According to the plan of repair of helicopters, them should transfer from the peninsula till December 31, 2013. Thus the prosecutor’s office submitted the claim on purpose to return helicopters from "occupied territory" (Kiev considers accession of the Crimea by annexation, on April 15 It is glad passed the law which designates the peninsula as «temporarily the occupied territory» – a comment to "Lenty.Ra") later nearly half a year after the expiration of repair work – in May, 2014.
