carries on negotiations on assembly of helicopters in Poland
The Motor Sich company carries on negotiations from the Polish PZL Swidnik for joint assembly and modernization of helicopters on capacities in Poland.
"Today we at the most initial stage of cooperation: in April there passed the first meeting where possibilities of joint implementation of the program of Ukrainian MSB-2 on capacities in Poland" were discussed, – quotes the representative of top management Motor Sichi Interfax Ukraine agency on Wednesday, May 7.
The representative of plant noted that in May the next meeting should take place.
"At the let stage speak about any details of partnership it is premature", – he told, having specified that "the potential of cooperation includes possibilities both in creation of new equipment, and in the field of modernization".
Motor Sich – one of the largest global manufacturers of engines for aviation equipment, and also for industrial gas-turbine installations. Delivers production to 106 countries of the world. In 2012 in Zaporozhye helicopter CB Motor Sich is created.
During passed in November, 2013 in Kiev of a bilateral forum on cooperation in defense industry complex (OPK), Ukraine and Poland agreed about deepening of production and technological cooperation in OPK.
The joint working groups on helicopter, aviation, tank and radar-tracking subject defined the pilot projects which realization on the basis of the Ukrainian and Polish OPK enterprises is represented perspective for joint activity in the markets of hi-tech arms of the participating countries of NATO and can be begun already soon.
By estimates of the parties, the cooperation potential in the field of a vertoletostroyeniye includes creation of new updatings of multi-purpose helicopters of Sokol family, and also modernization of multi-purpose Mi-8/Mi-17 helicopters, Mi-24.
